No "One Right Way"
Songs may exist in different versions: "I sing it this way." Playing by ear with loose printed backup, students can work out the song the way they hear it. They can even choose the key, if they are sophisticated enough. Then we add the chords, and the result depends even more on individual taste. Chords can be changed, added, and repeated at will This means Freedom of expression!
